In the boiler drum, steam is mechanically separated from the boiler water by what?
A. Steam Drier
B. Turbo separator
C. Natural density difference between the steam and water

C..is the best of the bunch. However, in the 'Steam Drum' there's a number of 'Baffle plates' across which the water flows and separates from the steam.
The steam leaves the top of the drum and, if required it's divided into 2 flows. One leaves the drum as 'Saturated' (Wet Steam), and the other is piped through a 'Superheater' where more heat is added to the steam to increase it's temperature to way above the normal boiling point of water.
This is now called 'Superheated' (Dry) steam which contains no water droplets but does have much more Heat Energy.
The water flows from the bottom of the steam drum by gravity into the 'Mud Drum' where any solids are separated from the water and, periodically, the drum is 'Blown Down' to a pit to dispose of the solids.
The water leaves the top of this drum and passes upward by 'Convection Currents' as it receives direct heat in the 'Radiant' section of the boiler. The convection section tubes then pass into the steam drum where it's joined by the pre-heated boiler feed water.

(A 'Turbo' separator relies on the effects of centrifugal force as in a 'Centrifuge' used in the 'Enrichment' process of separating U 235 from U 238).
