Mag light LED conversion?
there are these LED conversion kits for mag lights (flashlights). they are pretty expensive at $30. i would like to know if they are worth the money. Its a single LED in the Conversion Kit but all of the good LED flashlights i have seen have more than one. does anyone have an opinion?

Yeah, it's expensive. But the LED conversion actually does a better job in one respect. The mag lights let you focus the light from a wide flood to a spot. The LED conversion will let you continue to do that. The flashlights with multiple LED's can't do this. You can't have all the LED's at the focal point so the light will always be difuse in a flood mode. You can't get a real spot to shine a distance. Even if one of the LED's were in the focal point, the other LED's mounted around in the reflector will destroy the narrow beam.
