What are my options in changing my white vinyl window?
We plan to add a new window to our house. A white vinyl window was ordered by mistake by a friend of ours who was trying to help. We have a Tudor style house with brown windows and trims. What are our options in changing the white vinyl window to brown? We were suggested to paint the vinyl, or take it to body shop. Will painting or spray paint work ? Any how to suggestions from those who have done it?
Use a primer that is good for vinyl, same as you would use on vinyl siding. Then prime and paint to match...you should be ok, you might have to rough up the vinyl just a little with some 220 grit or finer sand paper before putting the primer on. Ths shouldn't be too hard since it is one window as long as you can match the brown color on the rest of the windows and trim on the house...
