How much engine oil should it be using ?
I drive a Ford Focus 1.8 (petrol) which is a 1999 T reg with about 77 000 miles. It has a full service history.
I wondered if anyone can tell me what a typical amount of engine oil ( in litres or quarts) my engine should be using.
I have done my own calculation recently and found that I used about 1/3 of a litre of oil after covering 1200 miles.
Does this sound normal or do you think I could have some oil leaks ?
That is about normal for an engine that age and mileage.
