i just got an old 17 yr old gray from a girl who did barrel racing with him and he won alot but i dont want to compete i just want to do barrels for fun so i was looking at saddles and i found one but it doesent come with a tie down hes used to a tie down hes used it all his life but i dont want to use it
what should i do??
get a tie down or dont worry aout it
and if i dont get a tie down what will it do to him

And also you will find that if he fell with you , he would not be able to get up as fast and might even kill you . Tie downs are the worst type of tack there is when it comes to people that do not know how to really ride
