What are good colleges on the east coast that has a good music and pre-med program?
I'm a senior in high school and will be doing college applications soon and I want to look at schools as well on the east coast. What are some good ones? I need help!
My alma mater in Massachusetts has a great pre-med programme. I was a history major, but I knew chem, biochem, and bio majors there who are at Harvard Medical now. I had one friend who got a full scholarship and stipend to Harvard Medical. I think they have an average acceptance rate into med school of about 94%, while the national average is only about 44-45%. It's called the Eastern Nazarene College, and it's in Quincy, Mass., on the South Shore just south of Boston, near Wollaston Beach.
I loved it there. I was actually part of both the A Cappella Choir and the Chamber Singers even though I wasn't a music major, and I know they have several other musical ensembles and concert series.
